The Thieve's Den. A place she had sworn to herself that she would never go to, but she was currently in the god forsaken city. Though she wasn't enjoying it. The city stunk of piss and blood, refugees had scattered the place so that's probably why. On top of all that the chaos was everlasting. The place had no rules and Jozephine expected no less from a kingdom ran by a fake kind.
But our red haired heroine wasn't just walking around the city willy nilly. She was actually there on work: protect a noble at his wedding.. It was actually a rather odd job to assign to a Page but one in her position did not complain when given a task. Though what they didn't tell her was that A.the wife was a Madiya refugee and B. it was a shotgun wedding. Which basically meant Jozephine was supposed to stand there and watch as the noble and his wife were rushing through the wedding hoping to get it done before the baby arrived while also giving the bride an evil glare. Fortunately, the wedding went something and they decided to have a reception also in Thieves Den. Even Jozephine thought this was a bad idea, hosting a rich people party in the heart of a crime city? It's like they wanted the Idiot King to show up. MADE BY ★MEULK

A fine dinner never plopped into one's lap. They were always taught to simply ask and it would be given, and yet here it was. A perfect banquet in the home of the King of Thieves no less. The group that had came in, bridesmaid and all, were watched with inquisitive eyes. Some of simple refugees and some were...more cynical. From atop of the castle of the king himself, he smirked as his red eyes pierced into the town and a few of his best men (and women) appeared just behind him," Why don't you lot go and get the rest ready. Get into position and wait for the reception. We're going to make sure we get something good this time." All six of them nodded and disappeared into the shadows as his body turned into the darkness of his room- The fun was soon to begin. In the darkness he dressed for the occasion, a nice shirt followed by a vest just over it, black pants and some boots. Just because he was a thief didn't mean he couldn't dress up for a fancy get together right? As it came to be his people were set up in the crowd of the wedding as ongoing lookers, their visage being that of humble people who simply wanted to watch the wedding unfold and looked nothing like the "filth" that ran amok in the inner city. One things these people knew was patience, and silently they waited. As the wedding progressed into the reception they struck like lightning. What seemed like three groups of thieves surrounded the area, closing them off for no escape and who would help them? The rich should have never came to a land of thieves, but it was simple to mistaken this for a haven. As the thieves roamed closer a voice would ring from the nethers," So...Why choose a wedding in a den of thieves? Seems...odd but none the less. You know the drill. Hand over possession, shiny things and otherwise valuable goods. You get to live. We get to pilfer...yadda yadda," the voice seemed like it had came from everywhere and nowhere, but where was the body? ▲ N/a ● ● Come on in

She knew this was going to happen. It was bound to happen. It was as if Jozephine was the only smart person in all of Drackenstein, besides the king of course but even she question what he did at times.
She leaned against the far wall as she watched the party goers hand over their valuables, which was actually quite a lot. Never would Jozephine understand why people would decide to bring their most valuables to a wedding. Though to be fair she doesn't know enough couple to ever be invited to a wedding.
One of the grunts of the group had decided to approach her. He didn't say anything, he just held his hand out. In response, Jozephine spat in his hand and closed her eyes thinking about what she was gonna do when she returned to Drackenstein. At first, the thief laughed. Though soon after he pulled out a curved sword.
Not even phased, Jozephine continued to lean against the wall. "We both know that you don't have the balls to attack a woman, let alone kill me." She scoffed before going silent once more. MADE BY ★MEULK

Red eyes pierced from a shadow beside the building, his external eyes keeping track of the exchanges as his men and women slowly gathered everything and stepped back into line," Another successful exchange. Good no blood had to be spilled and no one harmed...physically." He was pleased with the gains yet this was a robbery on home turf, a place he knew like the back of his hand and yet something about this felt...off. As the rest of the men gathered the trinkets of every man, woman and child the last man stood in front of the red head. His eyes slowly trailed to his hand in which he only looked at the spit and smirked," You must not know anything about the thieves here missy. Boss we have us a live one." The man stepped back with a smirk as his shadow began to warp and distort. Everyone could see it. The tall masculine figure appearing from the shadows like it was a door and when he was finally revealed he was...naked. A few coughs from his men filled the air as he looked to them and stared," What the hell are you coughing at you-," only to be disrupted by the man that had called him," Sir...Your clothes aren't on you...You're currently naked. Oh. That was a huge problem. Looking down to his free form body and dangling member he coughed and began to laugh for a moment," Wow, this is uh...This was not apart of the plan. You all wait just one moment," as he spoke the shadows lifted and covered his form until his clothes were on and then he nodded," Alright there we are. Sorry for that, sometimes I tend to forget which area I've placed my clothes. Anywho you my dear," his finger pointed directly at the red head," Like my friend here said. You don't know very much. What is the fifth rule my people?," for a moment there was silence until only this was heard. " WE FEAR NO MAN, NO TRAP AND ABOVE ALL...NO WOMAN." " Exactly. So when you say that this poor man here doesn't have the balls as you put it, to hit a woman? You are far from the truth. If he was allowed to he'd gut you and then leave your body for the wolves, but this is simply a "peaceful" retrieval of goods and it has gone well. So I'm going to have to ask that you relinquish your money. No need to make such a nice wedding bloody eh?," this time he walked up to her, his eyes penetrating hers as he waited. He wasn't scared of her and from what people could tell he was anticipating something to happen, but he figured such a red headed beauty was quite...volatile. ▲ N/a ● ● Come on in

She nearly burst out laughing when the Thief King decided to bare it all as he appeared in front of her. The sight was more funny than it was horrify or glamorous. Though his body was muscle toned and everything, she has seen waay better.
She watched as the Thief King gave a lecture about how he's not afraid of her blah blah blah. By halfway through his speech she was already tuning him out. After he finished she yawned. She's hear many tales about the Thief King but he doesn't seem to live up to the tales.
"Too bad I didn't bring any money with me. Why would I bring money anyways, I'm just here to protect idiot over there from your merry band of misfits. Now if you excuse me..." She closed her eyes and re-opened them but with her magic activated. "I'm gonna have to ask you to kindly leave." MADE BY ★MEULK

The words of the vixen wounded him ever so slightly but he smiled through it and rubbed the back of his head. A guest with no valuable objects on them? Weird but not on unheard of but he figured she was hear for a different reason," Take the goods back to the spot and put them up. We'll divvy up the spoils after my little conversation with red here," though he could only smile as she issued her threat and his eyes returned to hers.
"I'm afraid you do not scare me but for some common woman to try and tell me to leave from where i oversee? You must be a fool." The words flowed like water as the shadows from her and the many chairs flowed and ebbed. The myriad of darkness began to flow under him as the shadows themselves became tendrils and tentacles of eyes,"Now you need to decide if you chose the right words or not," his eyes slowly glowed a crimson hue as he smirked and rested his hands within his pockets. A magic that scared many people. No one had ever heard of a magic tjat controlled shadow and darkness, the murmurs and whispers of the people behind him grew as his misfits awed at their "kings" sleight display of power.

Shadows? His magic was to control shadows? Jozephine couldn't stop herself from breaking character and letting out a laugh, smiling.
"Is your little parlor trick supposed to scare me? Oh no! Shadows!" She continued laughing as she mocked this so called king. "You've probably never heard of my magic then? They eyes are kinda a dead giveaway of what it is, but I guess I'll tell you. People call them the Bastard Eyes."
After she announced her magic, the room fell into silence. Not out of confusion but fear. Probably the rarest and most feared eye magic out there. Murder was the name and the gain for her power, but she decided to leave that part out.
"So I'll repeat again: leave." MADE BY ★MEULK

" She doesn't know? Hah the intelligence of you humans intrigues me," the voice was silent within his mind as he stared her down, a smile forming on his face as he shrugged. He could hear it behind him, to the left...everywhere. The whispers of the partygoers hell even the bride and groom were moving away from him. Why? One person broke the silence only by throwing a chair at Sein," YOU CURSED MONSTER!!," the chairs impact fell on silent ears as the chair was soon flayed into pieces and fell to his feet. His eyes weren't removed from her for a second, but that unfortunate person? Could feel a presence shifting slowly onto their form before being pierced from underneath- their own shadow had killed him. Falling into a mess of his own blood Sein's smile never faulted for a moment as he slipped his hands into his pockets for but a mere moment," How much do you actually know miss Bastard Eyes?" The words were but a mere step. No a mere prelude to the knowledge he was about to drop on her, and where she felt amusement about his magic? Well she would soon see why the now dead groomsmen was laying in a pool of his own blood. " There existed at one time a race of "greater" beings, cursed with a magic that had the ability to well....they could flatten you with a smirk. Dragons. What does this have to do with anything you might ask? Well allow me to regal you with an interesting name of mine, besides what that dead man said. Sein the Shadow Dragon. My magic isn't just some petty form of shadow manipulation. No, it is Shadow Dragon Slayer Magic. Or cursed monster. So my answer to you making me leave? No." at that moment the shadows from under him began to rip on, forming sharp teeth and red eyes as they danced about and looked at everyone in the vicinity. ▲ N/a ● ● Come on in
