however, she keeps the secrets of her tribe a forgotten tale. lest the wrong people become enamored by potential treasures. she is a rambunctious and curious individual, who at most times, can prove to either be a mystery or an absolute weirdo. truthfully delphi is both courageous and kindhearted.

it was a given. nephele hadn't expected the endeavor to end the way she had wanted. her measly hands and throttling leg were more adept to out maneuver an enemy than send their limbs flying. especially when the issue was one giant and sturdy golem.

nephele lost her balance momentarily as the beast stumbled backwards. quickly leaping from the shoulders to avoid the fragments which fell from above. soon enough the girl was back where she'd been before. aside the now overly muscular man.[break][break]

"together. we'll both hit that leg." she'd say, referring to the one that had been more damaged than the rest. the work of deadly claws and a deadly blade needed one last hit. the golem wouldn't have been defeated yet, surely it wouldn't be able to fight properly.[break][break]
"quickly!" nephele shouted, charging forward once more. one hand clenched as she bounded towards the currently frazzled blockage. with the power that the other held, the impact of both would've been just enough. at least, within her certainty of capability, she believed it was possible.

wasting his time dwadling on the intrusion of a wild pokemon— bizarre or not— hardly qualified as interesting in the world of one that was adamant on going backwards. perhaps if the fog around his mind was not present, he might've found the situation amusing. a pokemon defeating trainers with its stolen team? a sigh withdrew from his lips and the absol aside him tilted her head. it was a slight curiosity that twinkled in those dark red eyes— [break][break]nothing worthy of trouble.[break][break]
despite the wealth— elijah was most certainly living as a vagabond. with rocket intruding nearly everywhere, the chance to settle was incredibly slim and perhaps a part of him also wanted to keep moving. however-- he missed the comfort of a warm bed and saw this as a chance to acquire such. the rugged surface of the earth wasn't exactly good for the back. though perhaps-- it was not just the comfort of sleep he wanted and as such-- reality returned.[break][break]

making an enemy of rocket or in this case— @cadis — would've been stupid. but, he was not afraid. those that held distaste for him lingered in every memory and jayde stood nonchalantly to the side. brushing a few unruly strands with his marked arm. for a moment— those words sent an unlikely startle. unfamiliar with the worry that involved him so. @silas — after all, was a stark contrast.[break][break]
"i don't care." he said, a bit harshly, "@silas did not have the modesty to even meet us all. not that i'm surprised." arms crossed over each—other, settling against his chest. ...a level that's not upon the blueprint @kingsley held. on the screen there was information about something uncovered from the attack on lilycove, something unidentified was within their possession. cadis inquired information on this from the head researcher who spoke of it, with a whisper, that it was located " as above, so below". a famous phrase. looking at the ground, he'd look back to the researcher who nodded. cadis understood and rounded the group together. "let's head out and allow my colleagues to get back to their work." once they all swarmed out of the room and the door was closed. cadis, explained, "there's a reason why security is so lax, because what we seek isn't here. in this building." opening the blueprints, two grunts held it open, a finger skimmed downward and off of the page. "it's underground." which meant... notes: what they were looking for wasn't on the blue prints. it's somewhere hidden underground. meaning they gotta find a way to get down there.

"sorry." jayde mutters immediately, his lackluster golden eyes turning towards @noelle. thankfully the woman didn't strike him as familiar and he turned back. peering into the distant shadows for some form of escape. unfortunately the earth shudders to his already present discomfort. confusion paints his usual empty display before disgust as the tentacles rise forth. ensnaring unsuspecting trainers and pokemon. the texture of the creature makes him feel sick and he struggles against its hold. able to reach a pokeball after pull and tug. though not a friend of his choice. foxglove emerges. the poison—type bewildered by its surroundings though quick to note the situation. one large and clawed hand took its descent on various writhing tentacles. hoping to free jayde from the otherworldly hold. something at which felt all very real. two fingers poised forth. jabbing his friend suddenly and possibly unexpectedly in the rib—cage. hopefully not to hard. it'd been meant as a friendly surprise. "i didn't think you'd be here!" the blonde said, his gaze eventually shifting towards the stranger. "i'm delphi! just your local ranger! who might you be?" a hand extended for a simple shake. though it might've been somewhat excessive given his excitement. delphi stops with the group. glancing left then right before noticing what stood few lengths away. "paper?" he says, blinking curiously at the creature. this was the first time he was seeing something different. the massive and deadly presence from mossdeep somewhat showed a resemblance given its otherworldly build. however that was a brief thought that dissipated as he opened his mouth to speak. "hey there! my good friends and i are just visiting the pillar! taking a friendly stroll to the top! breaking a sweat!" he pumped his fist upwards in excitement, "someone is being awfully noisy at the top too! maybe they need help? do you know if they need help? do you need help? are you lost?" the unmoving being was suddenly bombarded by the attack of a blabbering individual. well... the safer advance maybe? notes: hello i’m here and rdy to die
