It wasn't an easy feat to find his way back into the city but he had found away to smuggle himself out along with his daughter, getting back in wouldn't be impossible. His golden watched the sky roll on by past the large wall the surrounded the kingdom. Azreal remembered this small town... he had once called it home, it once housed him and his family. With a sigh Azreal continued on his way, blending into the crowd. He had changed his attire to something more suitable...a beat up shirt, worn sandals, and a tattered cloak. The cloaks hood covered his red hair as he darted around the ally ways.

Azreal wasn't sure where he was going....he didn't know why he was still here...eventually he came to a stop at a house...it was a small house nothing grand....nothing extravagant....Azreal could almost hear it.....the crackling of flames...he could almost smell the scent of burning wood....He closed his eyes and turned away. Without looking back Azreal walked back into the shadows of the ally, blending in with the homeless, vagabonds, and peasants. His feet kept moving forward to an unknown direction. Azreal took in the familiar surroundings....images of his wife would flicker as he would walk by familiar streets that he once walked with his late lover. After taking turns left and right Azreal found himself at the village grave.

"....Why do you love this place?....I'll never know..." Azreal muttered to himself as he walked past the tomb stones. He navegated through the names of the deceased finally stopping at one. A simple stone, with the name Ahnri Santiago. Azreal knelt down a smile came to his face....a smile that masked that held back an ocean of sorrow and regret.

"Hey beautiful....it's been awhile....sorry I haven't been around to visit....I miss you beautiful....Faye misses you too....she wanted to give you this..." Azreal's words were soft and filled with suppressed pain. He reached in his cloak and produced a single rose, his hands dusted off the tomb stone before setting the flower down."One day I'll be able to bring Faye over....until then can you wait a bit more?" Azreal put his hand on the stone as he closed his eyes fighting back the wave of emotions that was welling up inside him.

This had been her home for as long as she could remember. She had been born here, she had been raised her, and even granted her freedom, she still felt trapped here. Why couldn't she just leave? Where would she go? Why couldn't she move closer to the city? Would anyone accept her there? She was safer here. She didn't know the streets or the people. She didn't know the houses or the lost memories. She didn't know how this world had changed for she never knew what it was like in its originality. For years, Azalea had been confined to the walls of a small shack her parents had once called a home. In all of her twenty-two years, the girl had only left but once. Then, she was drawn right back into the abyss of broken memories and burning scars. This house was all she had.
As per usual, Azalea was lurking around the openings the of the holy walls of her forever cage trying to scope out what the daylight had in store. Normally, everything was the same: thieves, death, dirty people, and not a sliver of hope in sight. Every day held the same feel, the same appearance, and the same sights. Faces, rubble, pain, and nothing ever seemed to change, until Amber eyes caught a being that she hadn't caught sight of before.
The daylight had never been her favorite and she had vowed to never venture out into it, however she wouldn't let an opportunity slip through her fingers. Her passions and hopes seemed to outweigh her fears in the slightest, leaving to her quickly scampering off after the cloaked being. Of course, being the fearful, small girl she was, Azalea wore her cloak as well. Her cloak covered her whole being and was pure black, which blended well with her hair and fur. The girl had watched from a distance as this mysterious being seemed to examine a house. Had he lived here before? Did he still reside here now? What mischief was he up to now? Perhaps he was a thief? A murderer? If he were, he surely would have done so by now. What were his intentions?
Continuing to hide, the girl would follow the being through multiple alleyways, which definitely calmed her nerves some. It had always been her favorite way of traveling, considering the could conceal her quite well. However, her heart would sink slowly as she followed the man to a graveyard. She could obviously tell what it was considering the multiple stones in neat rows and evenly spaced to allow the bodies to fit. Would that be all she got after death? Nobody would ever remember her. Nobody would visit her grave. Nobody would ever look at her stone. Would she even have a stone? Would anyone even be able to identify her? Was this all she got? Amber eyes would tear up as this being stopped at one of the stones. Here she was thinking the worst for this one because he was new and he was mysterious. How could she have been so cruel to someone simply visiting the deceased?
With disappointment in her heart, Azalea would take a small step back only to trip over her own foot. The small girl would release a small, squealed yelp causing her to scramble to her feet quickly. During the fall, her hood had slipped from her head revealing her animalistic features. Standing to her feet, Azalea had only come to this realization forcing her to blush and place her hood back over her features. Amber eyes would flutter fiercely in the direction of the other being hoping it hadn't seen or heard her. If it had, she would blush quite noticably and take off in the direction they had come from. What was she thinking?

Azreal instantly composed himself and turned to see the source of the noise. He saw a small feminine figure. Azreal narrowed his eyes and approached cautiously. He held his hands up to show the girl that he was unarmed and meant no harm. "Are you okay?" Azreal inquired as he knelt down a few feet away from the woman in order to get a better look of her. "Are you injured? Do you need help?" Inquired Azreal as he slowly inched forward trying not to startle the woman. He pulled down his hood revealing his face and crimson red hair.
"My names Azreal... I can help you if you are hurt...I mean no harm..." He observed the girl and her small figure, she was curvy and at a closer look she seemed to have an adorable aura to her, something like a small puppy. Azreal reached out slowly offering the woman a handshake. "Might I have your name my lady?" he inquired in soft, soothing voice that radiated kindness and safety.

As the man spoke to her, she would freeze and her breathing would become so light it was barely noticeable. Her mind raced with the many possibilities that could come from speaking to this man. Many of them were bad, however a few small, hopeful ones slipped through every now and then. However, she wasn't quite sure which one's to follow or what to do. She watched as he came closer to her causing her body tot sense up more only for her to become a bit more calm as he sounded concerned for her. As he moved his hands, the small, fox woman would take a step back only to witness the crimson haired man to remove his hood revealing his features. Azalea on the other hand, was bot partial to removing her hood nor her cloak for that matter. Looking upon his features, the black haired woman would take note of how cute he was only to shake off all thought of such a thing.
He would speak to her once more this time allowing for her to see his features and worried demeanor, while also knowing his name. The girl would become less tense the more he revealed to her, as she noticed some similarities and how genuine his feelings were. Amber eyes would look quite nervous but also quite calm as she took a breath. "I-I'm... Azalea... a-and.. uh.. I'm ok," Her voice was soft and barely able to be heard. Shortly after speaking, the girl would look toward the ground with embarrassment. "I'm.. sorry.. if I bothered you.." the girl would apologize beginning to tense once more.
