[attr="class","smdbody3"] [attr="class","sinbody"] The queens mood was quite foul after the eventful day with her husband yesterday, causing Raven to even resort to brushing out her anger physically by the use of her slaves. In return, this day was no less better, as her hopes of leaving the city rested with one man alone... Azreal; A man that could also mean her utter demise if he as so mentioned it to Asura. Yet she patiently awaited his arrival, having sent a servant to find him and ask for his audience in her study. Normally he was around, however it seemed he was out and this irritated Raven as she felt pressed for time. Hoping that he was at least in the palace she sat on her cushioned couch with a glass of wine in her hand, displaying her irritation with the tapping of her impatient fingers on the leather underneath her. There was alot riding on this meeting, and the queen knew she had to go at it delicately or be ruined. Her determination kept her from running though, knowing that with or without his help she would leave to complete her mission. However she hoped for the aided success by her husbands counterpart. He was undeniably loyal to Asura, but he was also an intelligent mortal who respected knowledge and she hoped that was enough to deliver her pitch solid. With a soft sigh she rested her head against the leather cushion of the chair and waited for what would either be her victory or demise, the wait being a brutal obstacle she had to persevere through as well. Azreal was at the castle study, apparently a place filled with a fine collection of books hand picked by the queen herself. The red headed human had indulged himself in his favorite activity, reading. His eyes blazed through the yellowed pages of the old book, the book was not all that grand, in in fact it boasts simplicity for it was nothing more than a simple fairy tale. The story was about an evil demon king, the ending was predictable the demon king was slain by the hero of the story. Upon reading the last word Azreal shut the book and sat it down on the side.

"Now....who's the real hero here? The Hero who slew the demon king?.....No twas the demon king, oh the irony....Once upon a time the nation was tattered by war....but upon his appearance the humans found peace, they rallied forces and found a common enemy.....Yes...just like this story...sometimes the world needs a necessary evil...." Azreal talked to him out loud, allowing his thoughts and voice fill the room. Suddenly the door opened as a young servant entered the room, a plain looking girl.

"Excuse me l-lord Azreal....the queen wishes to see you." The servant girl refused to look up she kept her eyes on the ground. Azreal raised his eye brows. He paused and pondered for a second.

"Alright then...you hungry? Here have some." Azreal grabbed an exotic fruit reserved for royalty and tossed it at the servant girl. The servant girl panicked and caught the fruit looking puzzled and distressed.

"Go on...you can eat it....I won't tell anyone" chuckled as he adjusted his jacket and made his way to the servant girl. The girl nodded sheepishly and quickly ate the fruit, Azreal smiled as he watched the servant's face light up in pure bliss from eating the sweet fruit. "Now...take me to the queen....after I need you to go to Asura and tell him that I wish to speak with him in private tonight..." The servant girl paled as soon as Azreal mentioned Asura.

"Now don't worry.....about Asura just send him the message and you'll be fine..." Smiled Azreal the servant girl nodded and led Azreal to the queen. He then excused the servant girl to her task before entering the room. He then entered the room where Raven was located, he admired briefly at the surreal beauty of the queen. He bowed in a graceful manner. He walked up to the queen and took her hand and gave it a gentle kiss.

"My dear queen...you seem distressed? A beautiful being such as you should be plagued by what ever petty thoughts that run rampant in you're cute little head of yours....Why so serious?" Azreal smiled warmly, a smile that Asura could never give. A smile of empathy and kindness.....at the same time venomous and conniving, like a colorful carnivorous plant beckoning a beautiful butterfly to perch upon it's jaws....
