[attr="class","likedosub"]Appearance
Height and Weight: The Commander’s stature is one fitting of supreme authority within the Drackenstinian Military. Magnus walks with heavy steps, announcing his dominance over those around him. He is only slightly above average height, standing at 5’ 8”, but this deceiving feature is quickly forgotten by all when noticing his extremely lean build, displaying strength which appears to rival even that of a Promethean, causing him to weigh in at 158 lbs.
Hair and Eyes: Magnus’ hair glistens a deep onyx in the midday sun. The uniformity and plain nature of the pitch black shade mirrors the Commander’s own efforts to appear to the public as a stoic warrior who can lead Drakenstein to victory no matter the circumstances. The shadowy locks are almost always disheveled and at a length suitable to meet his eyes.
The man’s eyes are probably one of the more striking features the Commander possesses. They shimmer a deep sapphire like the ocean; Seemingly bottomless, full of danger and mystery, both beautiful and frightening at the same time. A glare from these orbs is enough to shoot an arrow of fear into anyone on its receiving end.
Voice: VOICE SAMPLE Magnus’ voice is a substantially deep bass, carrying a great amount of weight with every word he utters. He speaks in a fairly colorless manner, with very little tonal variation in his voice. He however, speaks extremely fluidly and in a very commanding manner; never a stutter or crack is present, whether he’s giving a speech or simply making an offhand comment to someone.

PERSONALITY DESCRIPTION: Magnus Vogel is a being of many facets; A canvas of many colors he shows many angles that can be perceived in different ways by a wide variety of eyes. He is a commander; always striving for the betterment of his knights and of the kingdom he serves under. He is a philosopher; frequently pondering the meaning of his existence and his greater role in the world, whether that be a glorious one or ultimately a pathetic one. He is a warrior; rubbing his nose in bloody battlefield dirt time and time again in the pursuit of glory. He is a follower; Holding great respect for his king whom he serves and following his orders faithfully, even if he may not fully agree with them.
Ever since Magnus was appointed as the high commander of Drackenstein, he has always strived to gain respect from his fellow soldiers. He achieves this by strict disciplinary action against even what would be viewed as minor offenses, often not hesitating to make punishment physical. He is not always quite so cold however, as he rewards exceptional performance with respect of his own, regardless of how low or high the rank of any particular soldier.
He is a man of few words, but the words that he does speak carry much more weight as a result. The man gives off an aura of self-assuredness and confidence with little to no enthusiasm or real emotion in his voice or body language when interacting with his men, although he does have a short temper and tends to take his frustration out on others.
Magnus continually tries to appear as the indomitable leader that strikes fear into his foes and awe into his allies and subordinates. However, thanks to his heritage, he always lives in fear of the opinions of others. It’s a fear that he would never fail to deny to anyone under any circumstances, even himself, but the mistrust of others towards him, and in many cases the outright hatred, has caused him to have heavily suppressed feelings of insecurity that impact him daily. Outside of the military, as you may imagine, he has little to no social life; Partially due to his insecurities and the reality of his public image, and partially due simply to apathy. He would not go out of his way to make friends and form relationships thanks to his prideful nature, but if they were offered to him he would not deny them as he hates feeling isolated.

HISTORY:
“W-What?”
“You heard me. I’m appointing you as Drackenstein’s new commander.”
The slayer’s expression of disbelief and confusion was apparent to all in the courtyard. He wasn’t the only one, as there were many pairs of widened eyes, hushed whispers, and mumbles coming from the sea of people surrounding the elevated wooden platform. The former lieutenant was just having a final prayer said for him, mere moments away from death before this. Magnus hesitated for a moment before slowly removing his head from underneath the enormous steel blade looming above him, ready to drop at the flip of a switch.
The executioner, veiled in his black hood, stepped towards the king and spoke, “M-My liege. Surely you must be mistaken. This is the lieutenant who was caught deceiving his superiors about his magical abilities. He hid the fact that he was a slayer and failed to report to the fron--” “I am completely aware of this man’s crimes.”, Umbra retorted with a pang of annoyance in his voice. “I would hope that you aren't questioning my authority… or worse, my intelligence. You aren't are you?” “N-N-No sir, of course not my lord.” The masked man responded quickly, dread choking him as he spoke. Umbra merely smirked at the man with the king’s trademark smugness. With the implication that his life was safe, the executioner calls for Magnus’ release promptly.
Once freed of his chains, the newly dubbed commander was still unable to shake away the feeling of utter befuddlement as Drackenstein’s king smiles and places an arm around his shoulder. “My lord… I don't understand. Why are you doing this for me? Why would you want me to lead your armies?” “Oh Mr. Vogel…”, The king began. “You have many flaws. You lack restraint. You have trouble sacrificing what needs to be sacrificed to win the day. Your smoking habit is completely atrocious and unsanitary. You have the worst--” As Umbra’s voice trailed off in the slayer’s mind, Magnus noticed that some eyes of bewilderment in the crowd had turned to anger and resentment. Their glares digging into him like spears. He may have avoided death for the time being, but he knew that his life would grow much more difficult than it already had. “...But despite all of that, I know you’ll do fine.”
The king, then having swiftly dodged the question, proceeded to grab Magnus’ wrist and pull him through the crowds. The sea of humanity they sailed through parted before them, none daring to stand in the way of their ruler, presumably.
A shadow loomed over the pair. It was a shadow of doubt; one of uncertainty. Everything was happening so rapidly. Magnus hardly had time to breath. The hatred surmounting around him was weighing on him so heavily already that he was struggling to maintain his footing as he was almost being dragged. “My liege, this is too much for me.”, He finally managed to murmur.
“Don’t worry. But know that I expect great things from you, D̟͈̣͎́͆ͬͅŕ̙͙͓̝ͬ̍̇ͪa̴ͯ̚g̜̓ͧͫ̑̂͂͡ǫ̟̭̰ͮͫ̿nͯ ͍̳͙̪́o̚͘f̠͖̞̜̟͔ͧ͂͗̑̑͌ͅ ̙̗̭͔̬̾́͊͗ͭ͒ť̼͙͙͓̟͕̽͛͞h͈̕e̖̖̝͆̂͂̀ ̫͔̖̿ͩ͑W̝͓̬̗ͫͦͩ͡é̛̦̫ͦ̽͊š͙̩̱̝̼͎ͭͯ̒̏̅̀̀ţ͍͎͕ͣ̒̋̄ͪ͌ͅ.”

NAME: Lightning God Slayer
TYPE: Slayer
PRIMARY OR SECONDARY: Primary
DESCRIPTION:
Gods; The most powerful beings in all of earthland. They hold the power to both create and destroy all that they see fit, not needing any rhyme or reason. Their strength most would consider immeasurable; able to make universes vanish in the blink of an eye. But there is one type of magic that is superior, according to myth.
God Slayer Magic; The ability to kill these legends. The magic takes a certain god’s element and infuses it with dark and unholy power in order to serve as the natural weakness of gods and other holy beings. Aside from it's dark nature, god slayer magic differentiates itself from other elemental magics in the sense that it isn’t simply about manipulating a particular element, it allows the user to change their actual physiology into that of a god; Such as by becoming resistant to other mundane elements.
This particular brand of God Slayer Magic is of the element of lightning. It was obtained by Magnus at birth thanks to his distant relative, Zeus. As the magic acts as a recessive gene of sorts, Magnus was the first in his family to ever obtain it. The onyx volts that the magic emanates with just about every spell are very iconic, imploring Magnus to hardly use it as he grew up as to not draw suspicion from others who would shun and ridicule him.
NAME: Penta-Aurum
TYPE: Caster
PRIMARY OR SECONDARY: Secondary
DESCRIPTION: Penta-Aurum; A magic that originated long ago shortly after the discovery of magic itself. Though not a lost magic, it is very archaic and no longer widely spread due to it's extremely dangerous and self-destructive nature. It’s a magic that's raw power was enough to lay waste to almost any foe, conquer any land, and claim any throne; But it comes at great cost.
Just looking at the details of the magic one can see how basic it actually is. It serves one purpose and one purpose alone; To remove the limiters on one’s body. A being’s body is born with natural limiters on magic ability and overall strength in order to protect it from over exertion and self harm. When this magic removes those limiters, it can lead to some extraordinary and fantastic results, causing the user’s body to emanate an absurd amount of magic power which in turn causes the body to go through some major physical changes as well, such as enlarged muscles and most iconically, golden hair. Physical strength, agility, reaction time, and magic power are all attributes that are modified by Penta-Aurum. However, the more limiters the user removes from their body, the more exasperating and brutal the consequences as they are literally tearing their body apart.
Penta-Aurum operates on five different stages. The first stage raises the user’s power only a relatively small amount and has minimal repercussions on the body, and each additional stage removes more limiters and makes the user’s strength greater, once again causing more and more bodily harm. The fifth stage has yet to be reached by any known individual, but it's rumored that the penalty for reaching it is death.
