| Watch your back when your out on the down tonight. At every corner I lurk in the dark like the shadow on these very walls. Put the man on trial. I bet he turn colors that he's never shown. | The crimson sphere ignited itself as it rolled along the skyline, slowing bathing the area in it's illuminated hatred. Meteo hated the sun as much as it disliked him, it seemed. He had to always be so careful when working up a sweat, some of his colleagues had abilities that allowed them to use scent to detect those who where not truly apart of the fold. Given how his own glamour was purely cosmetic, he was always weary of the days when the celestial orb cascaded him with it's heated oppression. Today was his lucky day, however. As he found himself in the district that rarely saw his kind. One that was rarely visited by Knights, though a few squires often found themselves in this local. Here in his traditional garb, which was that of a Drackenstein Squire, complete with his traditional rapier which sat on his left hip, he felt the most at ease. He didn't have to worry about the chaos that surrounded him. He didn't have to worry about oppressing others and he didn't have to worry about dealing with people that he hated. He wasn't a good man by any stretch of the imagination. That much was certain. But what he was, was a man who was capable of taking a step back to analyze fully his surroundings and appreciate them. It was that reason that drove him forward. He had a goal, he had to be wise and aware in order to achieve it. To fight fire with fire was what he preferred. As he found himself making his way down the winding back alleyways, he came upon a small fork that seemed to lead to a densely populated hovel. One that he hadn't exactly seen before...but it had been years sine he was last in the heart of this district. He thought of what kind of criminals could have possibly been in charge here now, he thought about what kind of people inhabited these dingy makeshift homes, and most of all he wondered if there were any non-humans skulking about, trying to make a living in a world that wasn't safe for them. It haunted him a great deal. But he was the kind of person who often did things that even disgusted himself. Well, at least when he fixated on them. He had conjured up a few dogs of war earlier, they were harmless, merely projections that seemed lifelike, but the three of them seemed vicious enough to deter any criminals from trying to harm him. As he made his way down the streets he looked at those who seemed to hold any interest to him. Eyes fixating upon the form of one singular female, one that he had never seen before. Granted, he hadn't seen everyone before, but he was well aware that she looked out of place in his mind. He peered over towards the female and stretched out his chocolate brown finger. Making a gesture that allowed him the opportunity to tell her to come to him. "You, girl, come here now." He spoke with authority. AZALEA |

Her day had been spent minding her own business and skulking around in the shadows of vacant looking buildings. She had seen simple people going about their daily lives: buying things off others, visiting the past, visiting the deceased, taking in the surrounding view, and simply trying to stay alive. However, she also saw a few instances of harassment, theft, and things that she pretended she didn't. That say was spent in a full body cloak, under the hood of despair, and cowering in the corners of solitude. However at just the wrong moment, the woman had stepped out into the open and caught the eye of a rather scary looking individual. That's when she knew she had made her mistake. She would watch him point as if it were some sort of horror, then he would call for her.
The woman's heart would sink, as he beckoned for her person to move closer to himself. Amber eyes would stare widely, as her body began to stiffen. Who was he? Why did he want her? What was his goal in being here? She had never seen him before but based on his appearance, he had come from better places than this. Without another moment of waste, the girl would slowly move towards him, as she looked to his feet. She would stop a few feet from him but she wouldn't look up. At the point, her heart was racing in fear and her body was quite stiff. With a voice so shaky and soft, she would speak, "Y-Yes?" She hoped this would be quick for all she wanted was to hide away.

| Watch your back when your out on the down tonight. At every corner I lurk in the dark like the shadow on these very walls. Put the man on trial. I bet he turn colors that he's never shown. | Golden hued orbs fixated upon the buxom entity that had entered his view only moments before. His eyes were overcome with a sense of disgust as he looked upon her. To him she appeared to be a typical human, someone unworthy of even the slightest breath. He wondered as to why someone would be so blatantly suspicious here. It made no sense to him. In these slums it was probably better to not expose yourself, to blend into the shadows in such a way that you can basically seem to be someone who lacked value. He would be cordial however, because despite the fact that he thought she was a human, he had his own role to play. After-all, it was hard for a man of his stature to do something without attracting attention to himself. It was good that he stayed on the down-low. At least until he could get that pending investigation cleared. "What exactly are you up too. You seem rather suspicious. I am more than sure it isn't too hot out here, what is the point of the cloak?" He spoke with to the female yet again, eyes narrowing with a deep sense of introspection. He'd put his palms together, generating friction for a moment while he peered at her. He figured that whatever reason she had for dressing this way was going to be excused quickly. "As you may know, we have been run afoul with refuges lately and I need a local to this area to be my tour guide." He really didn't, he was raised here, but given his new identity. He couldn't act as though he knew exactly where to go and exactly where all the trouble spots are. So taking this random female to be his guide was going to be something beneficial. It would help him lay low for certain. "Well, are you going to do your duty as a citizen and assist me?" He furrowed his eyes. Waiting for a response from the female as he laid his palm on the pommel of his sword, his dogs growling menacingly.AZALEA |
